Visual and Strategic Communication

Here you will find my services and projects dating back to 2019 in Written, Visual, and Strategic Communication, including my digital magazine, which I created as a thesis from Graduate School. Over the years, I have worked diligently to produce written, print, and digital articles that have been published. Working in local, national, and international news, focusing on various topics, I became highly skilled in SEO and online tracking tools such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Birdeye, and Google Analytics. During my time in school, I also obtained social media tracking and data certifications from Hubspot Academy, Hootsuite Academy, and Johns Hopkins University.

Visual Communication

This section contains event flyers, introduction posts, and media updates that I worked on, which have all been used as digital content. For each organization, I focused on crafting engaging content that aligned with the company's or individual's personal needs to achieve their communication goals.

From community events to email campaigns and reels, I have utilized design and editing software, including Canva, Premiere Pro, Adobe, and CapCut to make all of my visions come to life!

Public Relations and Digital Campaigns

Through coursework and professional positions—including roles at Where Y’at Magazine, the LSU Graduate School, and the Baton Rouge City Council—I’ve honed the ability to write in AP Style with clarity and purpose, tailored for both print and digital audiences.

A major milestone in my development has been learning and applying SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies to enhance the visibility and reach of online content. At Where Y’at Magazine, I contributed to a 15% increase in web traffic through targeted keyword integration and compelling headlines.

Whether writing full-length articles, creating my own digital magazine, campaigns, press releases, or speaker biographies, I have consistently adapted my editorial voice to fit any written journalism needs a company may need.
